Cottonwood Farm
In spring, they sell garden flowers and bedding plants including vegetables, herbs, flower baskets and hanging geraniums.
Late September to the end of October (2015 dates not yet posted) Halloween pumpkin patch with organic pumpkins and a stand selling a variety of organic squash grown on the farm and some from Isabelle farm, along with Halloween and Thanksgiving decoration and other items. Also has local honey from Renaissance Apiaries while supplies last. The halloween event is free to enter and includes a corn maze, hay bale maze & petting zoo. Every weekend in October they run a 1906 steam tractor for demonstration and education. Toward the end of the year, they sell sustainably farmed Christmas trees. |

Long Shadow Farm
A non-certified farm offering fruits, vegetables, chicken, duck, turkey, eggs, lamb, ice cream, preserves, pickles and sauces. Seasonal farm stand and CSA program available.
They don't use pesticides, herbicides, fungicides or other toxic chemicals. They don't give our animals medicine unless they need it, except for their sheep, who get vaccinated for CL and tetanus every year. They do this far in advance of processing the meat, and the injections are all subcutaneous. Their laying hens get 100% certified organic, GMO-free layer feed. The turkeys are on conventional feed this year but the farm's organic options will be expanding in the future. The animals are all grass pastured and allowed to graze and forage. Natural Homestead Beef
Pasture-raised grass-fed beef with no growth hormones, steroids, antibiotic feed additives or animal by-products. They offer both grass-finished and traditionally finished beef. (The grass finished animals only receive grass and grass hay. The traditional finished animals receive alfalfa and grass hay, silage, brewers mash and sunflower seeds.)
